A Setting so Sad
In A Place to Stand when Jimmy talks about the Coach wanting to adopt him it makes me sad. You can see how much the Coach cares about Jimmy yet the ideas put into his head about white people ruin something that could have been great for him. It made me sad because he is losing chances at a good life because of fear and confusion. The love he has for his family trumps all other feelings even thought his family has been gone for so long. This seen reminded me alot of the movie "Blind Side" about a football player who didn't start off that way and loves his family that wasn't to great for him in the end he makes it through. I hope the same for Jimmy at the end.

Doing the Right Thing Wrong
The characters I related to the mostt were Pino and Vito. I say this because I am the middle child so I have been in both of their places. I have been picked lm like Vito and picked on my brother like Pino. As for a character I truly couldn't connect with is Tina. I say thing because she lets Mookie get away with everything and still come around whenever he wants.
In "Doing the Right Thing" I feel as if they lack the meaning behind this. I say this because they make it seem like doing the right thing is situational and depensing on how you feel about something yet it is much more the that. So just by going by what the scrpit says doing the right thing is what ever you want to make of it depending on the issue at hand.
